9/11/01 Remembrance

say whatever you like about it..let out your anger, hate, sorrow, pain you have..i would just like to say a prayer..

on that tragic day..thousands of innocent lives were taking away for no reason..not a damn reason at all..that day made me think how lucky i was..that i wasn't in the position of those people and families who have lost so many people on that day.. made me think how fortunate i was that i was not there and none of the people i love the most got hurt..i can't not say the same for the others..i can not even phathom what their going through..these people must have alot of strength and courage to move on after such a disgusting event.. i have so much hate, for those who would enjoy harming innocent people and ruining the other's lives..its unforgivable..my heart and prayers goes out to those families who still to this day and most likely forever mourn the deaths of their friends/family when the twin towers collasped in new york and when the pentagon was nearly destroyed..i think of you people as true survivors..and through my prayers can i only hope to help you receive the strength to move on..we all will eventually will move on..but can never...ever.. forget.. god bless you

in jesus name i pray.. amen

amen...

oiye... a year has already passed! daaannnggg~ WAY to fast! i remember everything that happened that day too~ i woke up, turned on the news to see how hot it was gunna be while eating cereal. then the news was goin CRAZY over the plane crashing into the twin tower. i didnt think it was THAT big of a deal since none of the reporters knew that it was a terrorist attack. i went to school and didnt do ANYTHING. watched the news, talked about it with teachers, and just sat there quietly. the teachers thought that the day shouldnt be spent working and that we should be in remembrance of that day that would go down in history.

i remember a kid in my journalism class bringing in a tape of a 9-11 special that was on tv. it was a documentary that was taken place while it all happened. the camera man was related to a firefighter and got a really good look inside. it was so sad... a priest died when the elevators had a lil shake and had walls and debree come down. you could see people running for their lives so they wouldnt get covered in debree or burried under the building. alotta people couldnt run in time so they hid underneath cars, in shops, and in cars so they wouldnt sufficate.

SiGh* i hope the family and friends of lost ones would be blessed and that to all the lives taken from the world on 9-11...

rest in peace

9/11 Remember

its truly a devastating event.. i can go on about all the horrible things about 9/11... but instead, i want to share dat it was definitely a life-changing event and i'm glad America has finally become one united nation thru dis event. may we look forward to the future instead of being stuck in the past. live your life to the fullest... u never know when it might end.

God bless you all.

AMEN!

this day will forever be etched into my soul. this is the day where millions of americans had a very rude awakening. this attack was far worse then Pearl Harbor. This is not a war of honor but a fight wit a bunch of fucking pussys wearin towels on their heads. they cant do shit wit their lives so they go kill civilians. this is not a war, but an act of weakness. and hell i say fucking kill every single one of these SOBS that were involved in this attack. and god knows i want ever one of them to burn in the fires of hell for all eternity.

God Bless and Godspeed Amen

I'm VERY disappointed with my skool..like VERY disappointed.

We didn't have a moment of silence or anything 2day...

Even tho I live in Canada and on the west coast which is like way far away I really think that we should've had at least a moment of silence in respect for the lives lost last year.

it is too bad that it took something that horrible to happen in order 4the strength of Americans to really come thru and have them unite with each other..but we made it through and this jus proves as long as we are one, we can make it through anything life throws at us

OKAY...i'm sorry but did i hear the word COMMEMORATE with 9/11?!?!

that pissed me off a lot....i don't want to commemorate anything... this isn't a fucking holiday... i'm not saying lets forget it happened... this was a tragedy... travesty... wutever.... learn from it.... change by it.... and live on... quit bringing up the past... what's done is done.... honor the heros... give respect to the victims

i'm sure the families of the victims are GREATLY affected by this... don't get me wrong... no disrespect.... it's just... they're changed by it too... you can tell from all the stuff that those victims' families are doing so much...

but i dunno... so much freaking footage... it's like... become nothing to me.... i see that stuff on tv... and change the channel.. ever heard of too much coverage? we had one of those moment of silences at school today.. and people were freakin ... TALKING... i mean.... COME ON... how much could they not care about this anymore that they would do that.. i remember the previous year when we had one of these... no one... was talking.... NO ONE... people were crying.. and some were praying... but no one was talking like they were today...

nevertheless.... for all the families who lost loved ones...i've prayed throughout the entire year for them.... and i will as long as this event has any meaning left within me...May God be with the families of the victims. God bless the lost souls. May they truely rest in peace.

EXACLTY wut i was gunna say!! =]

buh yea... it is sad that it took a tragic event to bring millions of americans together to love one another and be thankful for their lives. i know alotta people prolly that the thought of 9-11 being a sign of the anti-Christ which most likely also caused thousands of people to rush into some kinda religion or belief.... i guess things changed both for the better and worse

oh okay i have one more thing to add...

i was talking to this sah mohn nihm (she's the one i help with the sunday school kids ). Well every sunday after we let the kids go she like talks to me just about wutever..... and i told her that it's almost been a year since 9/11.. and it just made me wonder why God would do something like this....

and her explanation was.... A lot of ppl found God during this time. Attendance levels in Church rose so significantly. This event not only brought the people of this nation together, it also brought a lot of them to God.

That made me feel good in some sorts (but i also kinda felt that.. "oh great ppl have to die for ppl to go to church... ")

actually...statistics show that although attendance to church did go up a year later it's teetered off and returned back to how it was b4....for the most part.

What im suprised more is that if people really loved america , then why did they buy alot of american flags during this time and not other times?

I watched the news where this business was flooded with sales of the flags during this event...now, since its been 1 year, the sales are way down.

If this doesn't make sense, forgive me, its 2:12 am here.
