SAT/SAT II prep school

locked in a white room for more than 6 hours with 20 other people in a space as small as my room is NOT how i wanted to spend my summer vacation. holy crap, today was just the first day. i cant do this for 7 more weeks. i cant. im going to go crazy. i just dont see the purpose in living any more.

I feel you. But mine is more handle-able. 2 hours SAT II Math IC & 2 hours SAT II Writing, and in my math class, 3 people total + nice, smart teacher and in the writing class, about 5 total + another nice, smart teacher. But it's on Friday's... grr~ well, that's that for my SAT II prep classes. Doing SAT I on my own, and I'm fairing okay. I scream in this forum if I "fail" my first real SAT I without a prep class. 6 hours/week for 7 weeks...done that. End result for me was kinda useless. Scores really didn't go up, I wouldn't have taken the course if I had to do it again.

wow i dont see how some ppl can sit there for sooo long..i took a 3-hour SAT prep class last summer and even that was too much for me~i just think that type of stuff isnt for everyone..for sum ppl it works, and for some it doesnt..i think parents need to take a step back and find out whats good for THEIR kid, not what they assume is good..well, unless u signed up for those classes urself..

how much u payin???
i didn't take a class...
i mean
why pay more money to take practice tests...
that u can do at home
for free
and score yourself...
i got a pretty good score...
(i took in january this year)
and i got.. 1410...
so... it's basically.. drill
drill like mad
i did 3 times a week about an hour....
sometimes i even skipped days... @_@
