Some IDeas for the PP forum

Yo, i was thinkin that we could implement a couple ideas to increase traffic into here. Any suggestions and other ideas will be appreciated :)
Yea, since not alot of people post up their picture (myself included) it would be helpful if there were some stuffs that would increase the incentive for someone to post up their picture.

So lets start if off...

1. I think Contests would be a good idea. WHat these contests would be about though, i'm not sure, and i'm not sure what to do with prizes if there would be any.

2. I dunno.

hmm bout the contest.
maybe we can have contest bout king ka's and queen ka's? maybe we can make a poll or somethinG.. i ono :satisfy:

yeah great idea!


the contest could be: best poses, most whack pictures, best storyline pictures, etc.

the winners could post thier pic in a stickied thread for winners (but this means that you would have to make sure that only winners post pics there, and that might mean extra work :sad: )

i dunno, i'll talk about it with Cathy and we'll discuss the specifics of it

im thinkin that theres gotta be a deadline for all the contests, like a 4 day duration of the event per se. Im not sure how voting will work, but it will be solved

hey everyone! im catherine (cathy/cat waheverz), the other mod for personal pixes~ i was talking to victor and we were thinking about a contest every two weeks and switch categories after every contest ends.
ex. say prettiest/most handsome is the first category. after two weeks of entering/voting, victor and i will announce the winner along with the new topic in separate threads.

we thought that was a good idea. buh im having trouble no the guidelines... any suggestions?? =]

except you know what? i have no scanner and no webcam and no digit cam... so i'm not gonna be in on all this... except the voting so....

how bout you ask ppl to email you their entries.. and then you post it up in a poll thread.... like

choice 1
choice 2.....

and then you'd have all the pics down there as other posts?

i thought about that possibility, but what i decided was that it would take away from the feeling that the contests would be sort of a communal activity (haha corny i know). I believe if it is too rigid and fixed, it would become dull, and less entries would come in. But if it were more relaxed, people would be encouraged to post up the pictures because of the atmosphere, and that is really the point of the contests, to draw in more people to post up their pics
