face the facts, it's just a childish phase. it's all mainly attributed to the fact that teenagers are young and just want to have fun. That's why they go for the more exciting, spontaneous types... since it's not exactly in their current interest to be seeking out well-mannered gentlemen as a potential husband.
no one should mind if girls choose 'bad boys' or not, since it is their personal decision and no one elses'. the thing to mind is when they come crying afterwards, seeking comfort in the company of a 'good boy'. this isn't where the 'good boys' are supposed to say something along the lines of 'it's ok... i'm here for you, tell me all about it and cry on my shoulder' -- it should be more along the lines of 'you're the one who chose him, so stop your bitchin'." being a good guy doesn't mean being whipped and sugar coating things just so you appear to be the 'guy right in front of the girl's eyes who she's missing out on'. if you think that, then damn, you've been watching one too many movies.
