i think just about once a year i get into a "poem writing mood." heh. here is the product of last year's... a result of one of my toughest wrestling matches with God:

Esto se ven

Lo que yo quería
Era que alguien
La perla vería

Pero ya sé
Realmente que soy
Barro, basura
Sólo pena te doy

Esa belleza
Madreperla suave
Dios, son tus lágrimas
Cubriéndome
