I just went to the sprite liquid mix tour which featured Talib Kweli, The Roots, O.A.R., and N*E*R*D*, it was my first concert, it was pretty sweet. Everybody, even the opening acts were pretty sweet, and everybody was holdin' it down, the performances were outstanding. Talib was brilliant on the mic, and the Roots were intense as well. O.A.R. is a really good live band, but I'd have to say N*E*R*D* doesn't really offer that good of a live show, though their music is good, it was cool to hear stuff from their next album. I was sort of surprised that N*E*R*D* is headlining this year because it doesn't seem like they were that successfully commercially, though they were recieved well critically. But considering how hot the neptunes and pharrell are now, it's not that surprising, anyways it was a tight experience.
