Sounds familiar...

Don't some kpop songs sound similar to American tunes?
Like SES' Uhn Happy Day. The beginning tune resembles TLC's Waterfalls.
Boa's Listen to my Heart: The little backdrop stuff kinda reminded me of Dream's Love's you Not.
I know there are more but I can't think right now.
Got any more?

Oh yeah! I forgot about that one! It was a mix between Usher and Bone Thugs N Harmony or somethin'.
It's kind of disturbing in a twisted way...me thinks

Yeah, there are a lot.... Even FinKL has a few songs that sounds like American songs... Like the one from KC and JoJo... But you must admit, there are some here that have similar rhythms to korean songs too... Like that one tune in a commercial I heard that was taken from H.O.T's 'Hope" mv... Yep yep...

i'm a bone thug fan, and i'll tell you gil sounds nothing like any of there songs.

- h.o.t - "junsai hooyeh" = cypress hill - "licka shots"
- h.o.t - "korean pride" = dj quik - "speed"
- h.o.t - "nah eui nuh" = that janet jackson song (forgot title)
- heejun - "red and white" = silkk the shocker - "it aint my fault"
- fly to the sky - "naegeh neun nomoo yeh beun keu dae" = tlc - "i miss you" (forgot the title, i think thats it)
- boa - "id peace b" = pink - "most girls" (??)
- shinhwa - pretty much any english raps done by eric are plagerized

the latest i've heard about:
Shinhwa's "Perfect Man" sounds like the chorus in Groove Theory's "Tell Me"
and Shinhwa's "Reason"(fifth album) sounds like an old skool Seo Taiji song.

Q.O.Q's new song "Leave" sounds extremely familiar to Afroman's "Because I Got High". It's the same beat, same singing rhythm, it's the same freakin' song! just different korean lyrics. has anybody else heard it? and maybe somebody can translate it?

YES....... well actually i couldnt figure out WHY the chorus sounded SO familiar.... but

don't korean pplz make a lot of remixes of old songs....

like hanuel's "ooht gi neh" .... is the venus song....

and one of yoo seung jun's songs is a remix of.... uh.... some guy with glasses.... o.o haha
and... i think uh. one of jinusean's is too... but both are remixes of old korean songs...

I think that for music to not have any beats in common is kinda hard.. i mean it's almost impossible.. cuz i heard a song that sounded like Mariah Carrie's Thank God I Found YOu.. but the beat change for the chorus...

i mean it's really hard to find diff tunes.. sso give them a break~

one i noticed recently was..

brown eyes - song of the rain(?) = case - faded pictures

the instrumentals are almost an exact carbon copy. pretty sad...
