Restore CD's

Does anyone know where I can find restore cds? A one for a sony computer, something is wrong with the computer but I cant fix it because i need to restore the hard drive, anyone know where I can one at or burn one? Thanks in advance

a boot disk? for what os? i have knoppix for recovery
