well, socrates never wrote down any of his philosophy. All of the stuff we know of him is found in writings of plato about him, as in simulated dialogues he wrote down and such. Aristotle may have written about him as well, as you stated, but You won't ever find any other "documents" about him for that reason.
If you want modern interpretations of his philosophy i'm sure there's a plethora out there.
