What type of books do you like to read?

I like reading books that are science fiction like, "A Wrinkle in Time." that book is messed up.

There isn't really a set genre of books I like to read. I go through phases...

As of the moment, my favorite book is The Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck. I read Of Mice and Men first and I loved it. As soon as I have some free time, I'll try to find more books about the Great Depression... if I don't get too lazy.

Sci-fi books tend to scare me a little bit. It's hard for me to grasp the concepts in those books sometimes.

What're those 1984 type of books classified as? I view A Brave New Word by Aldous Huxley and Fahrenheit 451 by Rad Bradbury <<which I hated>> to be in the same category. I used to look for those type of books to read until I finally figured out that they freaked me out way too much.

I mainly like humor books. The Hitchiker's Trilogy, The phantom tollbooth. The War with Mr. Wizzle (I gotta read that again and use some of those pranks)was pretty funny too.

I like science fiction books like ender's game (is that one?), and Starship troopers. and more but i can't remember right now.

i like mystery books.... esp ones by mary higgins clark.. but after reading all her books... her stories seem trite ....... as in... very repetitive... still her books are good... .... tom clancy is pretty okay too..... way too long though....

but i think the ones on school reading lists are good too...
