Sentences (VICTOR! you promised to help me!)

k, my homework is to create a sentence for each vocabulary word.
Each sentence has to have 18+ words in it.

ex. During high school, he was a loner and no one knew he existed, but now he is a very eminent and respected lawyer.

There was 18 vocab words..
i did 11 of them..

i need help on the rest

**
WORDS:
elusive
exorbitant
expound
refurbish
rejuvenate
repatriate
resilient

Rabbits are easy to find but are very elusive during the night.

The price for the book was $59.21 which was too exorbitant for Jim Sinep to pay.

Jim Sinep didn't understand why the price for a Pat the Bunny book would be so expensive, he asked the vendor to expound
the cost of it.

Jim decided that he didn't really need the book but he needed curtains to refurbish his home.

Due to the fact that the curtains at the store delivered a brightness to it's surrounding area, it would definately rejuvenate Mr. Sinep's house.

It was all in vain and futility on account of the fact that Jim would have to repatriate himself all the way back to England.

Ok www.dictionary.com is a good site that offers definitions for words. Good luck.

You may also want to change the name of the person you're writing the sentences about, espessially if your teacher is good at scrabble.

-The boxer was more resilient than othersin the ring and often counterattacked his attackers' heavy blows with alarming speed.

-After spending 12 years in Germany, Marcel grew homesickand decided to reptriate to the U.S. to reunite with her family.

Resilient in face of danger, the young rabbit shot Elmer Fudd; and in mockery of the man's voice, mimicked Elmer's dopey laughter.

Avoiding Elmer Fudd's steady watch, the elusive bunny rabbit ran around behind the human and shot the unwary fool in the back

In light of the economic crisis in the United States, the modern-day consumer is faced with exorbitant prices set by independant merchants in dire need of income.
