Dear S, Masturbating is neither good nor bad. You can live with it and you can live without it. However, I do think that masturbating is healthy because you get to know your own body and also it helps relieve tension. Masturbating too much is unhealthy though. Not physically, but psychologically. When you masturbate too much, you're making yourself feel better because of something bad in your life. It's avoiding the problem and I don't think that's too healthy.

Hi S, In a word, No. There are no adverse health issues that result by masturbating, even often. It isn't "bad" health wise, and is a normal part of growing up. So I wouldn't worry about it.

It can be very healthy for you because it helps cure the natural sexual drive a guy has but without the risk of pregnancy or STDs. Hello! In regards to your question about masturbation. Masturbating isn't necessary bad, but in some societies it is a social taboo. A testy subject that is there, but doesn't want to be talked about. I can't really say that masturbating is healthy, but it isn't harmful either. It is a way to satisfy your needs and such when you get the urge. In a way it is helpful....it rids the body of excess sperm...but you also lose vital nutrients like vitamins and minerals....but the loss is only minimal. It also exercises the glands in the both the penis and testicles. Its neither beneficial or harmful...it all depends on how you look at it. I hope this helps some.

Masturbating is a perfectly healthy way of being sexual as long as you're not doing anything harmful to yourself or others by doing so. But in itself it isn't going to promote or hurt your good health.
