can I ask how you came to this quite remarkable assertion? .swf are in fact flash files. compiled and ready to play. on the other hand, .fla are flash source files. not to mention that 'macromedia' is the company that develops flash, and not a program itself. next time, go do some research before you come up with another such a brilliant statement to embarrass yourself.

netstat? netstat is a command that displays LOCAL network connections. and you dont even KNOW how to use telnet. not to mention that no sysadmin in their right mind would have telnet running. we now use ssh2, welcome to the 21th century thank you. (not that you would know what i am talking about anyway). you, having the slightest clue where to start to actually attempt a hack.. ofcourse i fear you.

oh my.. you make me laugh. asp and php are SERVER-SIDE scripting languages. asp being only for iis webservers. if you really knew what you were talking about, you would have realized that we run on apache. or was that you really didnt know what asp was for but said it anyways in an attempt to sound smart? and vb, cpp?! stop kidding yourself and lets be real. you and i know very well that you have no where near the mentality nor the capablity to actually program in those languages, you who even have trouble implementing simple html 'table' tags to your website running to me for help.

i always knew you to be a script kiddie, someone who didnt know how to hack himself, but relied on win32 programs that require nothing but a mouse (and not even a brain) to 'hack'. but letting the world know, ofcourse.

i have worked as a tech support for sypral.net, an isp based on nyack, when i was a freshman. ive also worked for oracledesign.com and started my own design company at synopticdesign.com when i was a sophomore. ive taken ap comp sci ab during my soph, took the bc exam and got a 4. ive taken and passed the four core exams for mcse certification, short of three elective exams to become a microsoft certified systems engineer, the reason being the lack of money (books costs around 300 and tests around 100 each). aside from administrating nt, im also experienced in managing linux servers and know how to script in bash. and obviously, this site speaks a lot for itself. aside from this board and the gallery script, everything is programmed by me using php. the board being vbulletin and the gallery script, a heavily modified version of gallery.sf.net, where i stripped the program of its necessities and reprogrammed it into one script. and then theres the two webservices that im planning to run in the near future.

you, on the other hand, have no actual computer experience at all, save for trivial things such as html editing. but ofcourse, my accomplishments in the computer field is nothing compared to yours. so go ahead, flatter yourself. but as far as i am concerned (and anyone else knowledgable for that matter), you are nothing but scum with little knowledge about computers. prove me wrong four years from now, and i will gladly retract my statements.

you tire me with your petty arguments. seems to me that youre used to being revered by others who know nothing about computers and take whatever you have to say for granted. unfortunately, this isnt your little playground. here, some of us actually DO know what we're talking about, something you obviously don't.

so dont embarrass yourself any further and go back to your sandbox. go build yourself a sand castle. oh, what fun.

i understand and appreciate what youre trying to say. and i feel you are correct in the sense that as the admin, i should know better than to engage myself in petty arguments. but i honestly believe i am doing ajy a favor by letting him know relatively early in his life that bullshitting wont bring him anywhere. he'll just be scorned and ridiculed at in the real world, which is the very thing i have done today.
