yes. y not? i'm not livin in sin or nethin. i'm a normal Catholic. of course, i do sin...but i meant it differently. like, God is all gonna save us in the end, rite? but i'm sayin i dun need a wake up call to renew mai faith or nethin...i believe wholeheartedly already

ah but as the Bible states, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

No one is worthy to be saved. Its God's Graces taht gets us saved

um...............salvation is the only way to heaven...
it is by God's awesome grace that we are allowed that...
but...
i thinks its more then salvation...its your walk with GOd also..
i mean....so you decided to accept GOd into your life at a retreat or where-ever....thats great,........the tuff part is living out the life...
ya know?

some of us go around saying how...oh yeah...im saved...
but ya know that some of the things they do are not "Christ-like"

well...to get back to the main thing,....
i think its a 2 part deal...
doing and believing....

i totally agree. As someone once told me "You are saved by grace, but your faith is authenticated by your works"

its because i dont have that walk with God that i dont consider myself a christian =/

exactly~ buh it can be so hard to do sometimes. alot of the time i try to read the bible but i never get to it. becuz i ferget and something distracts me. another thing is... i dunno where to start. iv'e read prolly half of the bible buh that was a long time ago when i was saved. nothing's really changed except for my laziness....

besides the bible readin thing... i pray before i go to sleep, believe, go to church every friday and sunday, and im trying to get the TOTAL habit of praying before eating also. before it was just praying before i eat when im at church. alotta people think that if you pray it'll make everyone look at u n be like... wut the~ buh it's not like that with me. when i pray before i eat, it acts as a reminder for my friends. i hear em say... opps and pray after me or do the thing that Catholics do. (hand motion across chest... dunno wut its called~ =] ) so yea... i dont get the feeling that my friends are staring at me anymore.

heck yeah its hard....
but good things dont come without a price right?

i know what you mean by the bible reading thing...
i really didnt get it...and i still dont think i get a lot of it....
its really all about the context...
think about getting a qt book...
they help you out if you dont know where to begin
and they ask good questions about the part of the bible that your reading and stuff like that....

a pastor once said " its not about quantity, but about quality"

dont think that spending more time with God makes you a holy person or dont feel too guilty about not spending enought time with Him.......its the way you spend time with Him.

yup same here. i dunno y othr christians don't pray b4 they eat in public...i've alwaize dun that and i dun feel weird about it. pplz mite laff at me, but so wut? and a lot of mai frenz and family also go "oh yeah" and pray after they see me ^^
