not only that.

The term bohemian has existed ever since the early 1700's. Though there are a variety of definitions to define what Bohemian and Bohemia are. A wide group believes that Bohemians are artists and musicians, scraping against society while producing art with a passion unparalleled. "Bordered on the North by hope, work and gaiety, on the South by necessity and courage; on the West and East by slander and the hospital." Another group believes that, as understood by the aformentioned quote, that Bohemians are the ones who are righteous and posess the ideas and ethics to produce a truly perfect society. However, another group still believes that Bohemians would not produce their own perfect society, but instead help the present society achieve greatness: "All the most talented and promising young people lived in it, those in their twenties who had not yet made their name but who were destined to eventually lead their nation."
I read a section on this in a practice SAT puaahha. It was boring to everyone else but me....but yes i guess in terms of fashion, Bohemian can be defined as hippi.

It's been on most of the runways in some shape and form. Ugh...some of that stuff is just too...too...too ugly. All i can think of when I see that stuff is long haired men and women prancing around incense burners chanting, "Love and Peace!" or "If you're not a part of the solution then you're a part of the problem!"

I like the white outfit but i dislike the others in dark beige -- what an awful colour!

Actually I see many white bohemian outfits in the stores and read in the papers that they should be accompanied by turqoise accessories.

I think the white outfits would look nice with minimalistic turqoise accessories (not the big gaudy ones).

I like the peasant blouses (off-the-shoulder types).

here's a better definition i found on a website:
"The 70's live on! The bohemian look was updated to include a hippie+ gypsy = 'gippy' style. Loose and Off the shoulders, models strutted gypsy blouses down many of the runways. A close second to this popular look was the peasant blouse.

Also, in celebration of a 70's theme were fringes, fringes, everywhere! On belts, bags, skirts, dresses, shirts.. you name it, they fringed it. Asymmetrical and handkerchief hems were popular, creating soft silhouettes on dresses and skirts.

Finishing off the 70's flare of the collections was the color schemes - vibrant colors, graphic designs. Think big, bold prints and geometric shapes."
