anybody on a diet?

is anybody on a diet right now? swimsuit season is here and i guess it's time for all y'all to go on a diet. if you are on a diet right now, or are planning to go on one, what is your diet like?

the best diet tip is to cut down on fatty, greasy food and to drink a lot of water, like 6-8 cups a day.

ay, i haven't had greasy fast food or ice-cream or candy bars for like 2wks. now. i want to look good in a swimsuit, not only for myself, but for all those potential cute guys. plus, i've been doing push-ups and crunches for about 5-10 minutes a day. just 5-10 lousy minutes for the past 2wks., and already i'm seeing results. i don't think i've lost any weight, but i'm just stronger now.

okay.... don't think of the word DIET as losing weight

think of it more.... as changing the things and way you eat so it's healthier.... and that'll help you loose the unhealthy weight...

and also..... don't think you're just going to loose weight by avoiding some foods (well you CAN but) .... i suggest you also excercise.... even if it's only a little... i really advocate excercise WITH a healthy diet (diet as in food regimine(?)) ... because i've had too many friends who.......

remember..... no pain no gain (and no i'm not talking about the pain you get when you know you can't have that piece of chocolate pie.... but try to resist those... a little indulgence isn't bad)..... you know that BURN you get when you excersice? you're BURNNING off fat/calories..... lactic acid and all that...


don't try to make up a diet for yourself or just do random excersices.... if you're serious about eating healthy then you should go see a professional about it (dietian... even your PE teacher or nurse)

my aerobics teacher taught me so much about all this stuff.. it's like drilled into me..... starving yourself out of foods is NOT the way to "diet"..... eat healthy and excersice regularly...

yea thaz wut our health teacher said 2. but the prob is i dun hav time to exercise and sumtymz i dun hav time to eat :sad: another thing that makes dieting realli hard for me is that i LUV eating! it's fun! *sigh* well, no one said being beautiful wuz easy.

So true! .. its about eating smart and maintaining/making a healthy lifestyle. You're stuck with your body and health for the rest of your life... so why not eat a lil smarter for its sake?
