9/11 prevention in the future

what can we do to prevent another 9/11 or a highjacking, or any kind of terrorist action in the future? When does security impede on civil liberties, and do we need to give up liberties for better security? Whats your guys' view on it?

nothing.

who could have thought that they'd use our own planes against us? now were thinking of ways to make planes safer.

but the next time they wont use planes, terrorists will devise with some other plan that we would never think of.

theyre a step ahead, planning wise.

i agree with huby. i don't think we [united states] can think of everything. someway, somehow, terriorists will think of a much better way, one no one would think of, to attack our country again. I'm sure that having all the security in the public places now will help a little, but the terriorists have so many people to help them out. they could be living right next door to you and you probably would never know until there's another attack.
it's pretty scary~

hey you know they developed Cellular Phone handguns.

They're supposed to be stateof the art and very highly advanced. Everything fits inside a cell phone and because of that is extremely hard to detect and distinguish the difference between the real phones and the weapons.
Its manufactured in the Czech republic and fortunatly they are very expensive so most terror organizations cannot get a hold of them yet...however as soon as more are produced, the prices will most definately go down, increasing the availability of such weapons.

Well, I think that the US can and will just go on creating more and more laws, and keep on tightening security. But the real thing is, you want to get rid of terrorism? hahaha. How pathetic. There's terrorism in every country, everywhere, so why doesn't George Bush decide to go blow up the world?

No really, though, the best way to prevent war is peace, right? I know I sound like an idealist, but hey, it's pretty true. If we want to stop another 9/11, we can't keep on trying to pick fights with everyone. We have to go out and sign peace treaties and put back the pieces. You know how much money is must take to build 1000 pound bombs, transport them across to Afghanistan and then blow away some so-called terrorist site, miss and hit an innocent village, and then go and build another one so we can bring it back and not miss, but by then it'll already be empty? Well if all that wasted money were instead used to give back to all these Middle Eastern countries we've blown to bits, then they would be rebuilding, and do you think they'd have the time or will to go and plan terrorist attacks?

Hmm... yeah, I think that's the best defence we have besides blowing up the world. Do I sound skeptical enough yet?

I think we should have round buildings with reinforced windows so when another plane hits they just slide off.
