i love the catcher in the rye. it's one of those books that stick around through time because it relates to every generation. a more modern book that deals with issues of teens is the perks of being a wallflower. it's pretty good; my friend recommended it to me.

i also liked jane eyre and wuthering heights when i read them last year for school. the grapes of wrath is pretty good, too.

favorite out-of-school books would be the vampire chronicles, hahaha...they're so good. anybody ready any?

forrest gump will always be my favorite book.. d=)

but i've been reading "Fox Girl" lately.. it started out really well.. i think i enjoyed the book because it was referring to all these korean things that only koreans might be able to find humor in.. the book is set post korean war... in korea.. but it just made a wicked turn towards graphic and i couldnt finish it..
i also heard "Naked" was a good funny book.. unless you guys are reallllly homophobic... and im gonna pick up "Chicken" too...
