spanish....

sumone wanna explain rules and verb endings of irregular preterite verb changes to me.....as in 'usted no poner suficientes estampillas en esta carta' changes to 'usted no puso suficientes estampillas en esta carta'
i dunt get what verb endings (i, iste, io, imos, isteis, ieron, or whatever dey are) go where.....

The endings remain the same
e, iste, o, emos/imos, ieron

How you conjugate the beginning is the problem.
Like poner is pus-
puse, pusiste, puso, pusemos, pusieron
tener is tuv
tuve, tuviste, tuvo, tuvimos, tuvieron
Irregulars have the same endings it's the beginnings that change. There's no general rule for how the beginnings change either. Sorry. :sad:
