S#arp- B Flat 4.5 album
my rating= .5 out of
I'm sure everyone has heard S#arp's, "My Lips....warm like Coffee. " Remaining on the top of the charts for three weeks or more and coupled with another puncher- "Kiss Me" S#arp in my opinion had solidified a rating in 4 out of 5 range with just these two songs.
Well, perhaps Kiss Me wasn't THAT great, but definately "My Lips....warm like Coffee" earns the title of one of S#arps best songs yet. With a nice beat and melody, this song is simple and nice, which is, i believe, exactly the reason why it stayed up in the charts so long.
"Kiss Me" is very iffy, depending on if you like the style it is in. I can't really define what kind of style it is, but it a very well rounded, solid song that deserves commendation. (The music video was better IMHO)
With the rest of the album, it took me a while to like. As I listened to it more, the more i liked how the songs sounded and etc. In "Silohuette" Chris Kim's rapping was exeptional, and really gave the song a sound that was really unique. The rapping isn't outstanding or extremely lengthy, but it definetely gives the song character.
The song "All for You" is also another notable, and is well rounded with a solid chorus and good beat. The rappin by Chris and the other dude is pretty good and is a great addition to the song.
Most of the other songs are ballads sung by Suh Ji Young the other girl, or both in a duet. So if you're into ballads, then thats another plus
A VERY good album from S#arp and i hope they make another lol haha
