random.

i went to school today tired and withdrawn, exhausted from my lack of sleep. so i drag myself to the cafateria to buy a cup of hot chocolate when the cashier tells me she doesnt have change to break my $10. so im waiting there, weary and dumbfounded, too drained to say anything, when a girl ive never seen before comes up to me and tells me she'll pay for it.

tired, i softly whisper, '..thanks'.
'oh dont worry about it,' she replies, in that cheerful tone only a girl knows how to use.
i smiled.

its funny, how a random act of kindness can really lighten up the day.
