could you elaborate on this though? it sounds intriguing but i'm not sure if i agree with it (not that i have to), and i'd like to know what you were thinking when you conceived that idea. Surely, progress in senses such as economic dependence and maybe even age could be perceived as being cyclical. But, what about mental progression and idealisms? If someone thinks completely different at the end of their life i do not see how it could be cyclical.
