places in 3rd world countries where children are hired to work and the workers get low pay and they're almost forced to work.

half the clothes (maybe even more) that you have now were most likely made in sweat shops.

thnx sangxjin. well, those kids need a job neway, cuz if u didn't buy that stuff then the company wud go broke and those kids wudn't hav a place to work. and yes, most things are made in those kind of places...

it's hard to tell if the clothes i wear right now are from a sweatshop. but then, don't they all come from sweatshops? all the clothing and especially shoe companies are looking for ways to manufacture their merchandise the cheapest way. they actually hire people to FIND ways to make it cheaper.

it would have to depend on the company, i don't buy stuff from nike anymore..
