Language Orals

We just got done with our IB Orals for our respective languages (speeches more or less). Did anyone else do these? Tell your topic and what language it is i guess. Mine was:

"Total Disarmament of US Weapons of Mass Destruction" in Spanish. haha, yeah that was my topic last year too, didn't matter cause i'm not taking the ib test.

how bout everyone else?

"the loss of civil liberties in light of the U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act and its upcoming addendum" in Spanish. I'm not sitting for the I.B. test, but it went well anyways. Not as good as I would have liked it too but the teacher seemed happy anyways haha.

we had an oral final in french, but it wasn't a speech *shudders* we just recorded ourselves talking about the subjects she told us to. we made 3 recordings, and each were a minute. the subjects were any random picture she picked (we just make up info bout what we see), reading a passage from a book, and our dad.

yeah, by spanish V or whatever you'll get pretty good at it. That's basically all that class is, excuses to talk in spanish so you can try and get as fluent as possible, with reminders of how to conjugate stuff and learning more vocab. It gets easier.
