Could lotion be the alternative of gel?

Heh... my friend always told me if i ever run out of gel i should use lotion..

but is it healthy for your hair? like my hair isn't gonna fall out cuz i put lotion in my hair right?

i kno it doesnt do anything to your hair. it just kinda clumps it up and keeps it in place.. but later on its going to take forever to take it out..

i don't think lotion would keep ur hair up, like if trying to spike it or something. but if ur just looking for it to stay in place, it might work. i wudn't noe tho...that sounds like an interesting alternative

lotion is good for you hair... it makes it healthy and nice... but I would never put lotion in my hair because it makes my hair look greasy... I have a friend who used to do it all the time and it looked really bad on her... it's healthy for your hair though...

also, lotion isn't an alternative for gel... first of all, it doesn't hold hair up like gel does... second, it makes hair look greasy, not stiff(?)

stick to gel, and if you run out of gel, use hair spray because it's better than lotion...

although, messy hair would be cute once in a while too... also, it doesn't damage hair like gel, hair spray, or another kind of hair holding product...

messy hair is HOT actually! hubba hubba! lo

yeah i use mousse, healthier for ur hair than gel, wax iz good too if u want it to be more.. uh harder

someone in my grade started losing hair cuz of all the gel he put on o.O;;

lotion isn't as strong as gel and boy does it flake off >.< an dif you use alot of it, it is going to be a pain washing it off gotta dig in and take out the shit
