have you ever stopped and really thought about your life? about how many of us take it for granted?
Many of my friends have lost loved ones, even myself.
It is during those times when I sometimes stop to think about my life.

Heres my question:
What keeps you motivated? What is the main reason you cherish life, and look forward to tomorrow?

my friends... knowing that they would be there i cherish my life... same goes for school... if my friends weren't there with me... i wouldn't even bother going to school.

yea i have, esp when i was depressed during my teenage years...i would consider suicide but i would suddenly think bout life and go, 'hey, i'm not ready to end my life yet...i've got so much ahead of me' and yeah...thought bout my family too...so yeah...i do cherish life a lot good thing i'm not depressed anymore though!

I've considered suicide about 23 times.

Anyway life is God's gift. Killing yourself would piss off God because it shows you don't care about him. So dieing isn't a way to escape from troubles.

Besides I enjoy life too much.

Also things will get better. History repeats itself so much you can almost predict the future. If you've experienced joy once you'll experience it again.

i don't think i've ever been really "depressed" just really sick of life thinking it wasn't going anywhere. the thing that motivates me is my mom. when i went to california during the summer, my aunt told me, "treat your mom well. she tells me that the only reason why she's living is because of you and your brother. she wants to see you guys do well in life. all she has left is you and your brother, your mom would have nothing to live for." when she said that, i was like..damn, didn't know she felt that way. so yea, i wanna make my mommy proud and my "goals" in life also makes me want to live and work harder.

i noe i take alotta stuff for granted...i mean, just the lil things we dun think bout like havin a warm place to sleep and food to eat and clothes to wear and knowin u'll be alive the next day is more than alotta pplz in the world can say they hav rite now.
i wuz pretti depressed durin 8th grd...i consider that skool yr one of the darkest times of mai life. wut kept me goin wuz knowin that the sun will be out the next day and that it has to get better if i just stick this thru and keep goin...cuz i'm clear of the shit life will still be worth livin. i just kept tellin me that it wud get better and that God put me on this planet for a reason. so i got thru and i'm glad i didn't giv up also, i didn't wanna cause grief for mai family in frenz.
