Does anyone encounter this problem in IRC? How can I fix this?

I also get that, but it's most likely my university tech department blocking inbound traffic on certain ports that's causing it

I did fix the ignore thing, that was the initial problem. We've tried AIM but he couldn't send the file, and we couldn't direct connect. We've tried bit torrent as well but have no server. Also JSL, but the file was too big.

it's peer to peer, not pear to pear, unless you are talking about filesharing between fruits

good one ugly, step away from the computer screen and open a window. That's right breathe in that fresh air. Now maybe tomorrow you can take a step on your nice astroturph lawn, or maybe even walk around the corner. Diagnosis: Suicide.

I've noticed you like to nit-pick at other's spelling. This is obviously a weak self defense mechanism to veil your true character. You are just a weak, simple minded, brain washed person searching for a purpose in this 'world'. So when someone makes a grammatical error, or uses in-proper english (Heaven forbid) you get on their case like a cell mate on the new guy. Give it a break, we know that your life has no meaning, but share it somewhere else, somewhere where people actually give a shit what you are talking about. That place isn't here my friend, this is a one man band, and there's no room for you.

Now I already know what you will reply with. Something accusing me of being a pretentious hippocrite. A little something about how you do go outside sometimes and how none of what I wrote is true. I can read you like a book, you're just scared. Scared, lonely and wanting to be hugged, like a child's teddy bear. You're predictable and hideous. Give life a rest, try out the afterlife.
