I got 4/5. Question 4 doesn't make sense. Anyone care to explain?

5/5, the 4th one is just resigned and immutable. The reasoning is the use of definitions many people are not familiar with. immutable, sure, that one fits perfectly. But people see the word resigned and do not realize that it is an adjective (as well as a verb). If i said i am resigned to having to post on jsl, it means i am submissive, or to comply with without an opinion of your own. I am saying i do not care, i will just post on jsl. I am passive, i am submissive, i am compliant, i am acquiescent, and i am resigned.

I remember looking this up last year sometime that is how i know.

I know what resigned means. I just didn't think the sentence made sense. Why would they be "resigned" if a situation was "intolerable"? Wouldn't they be "bellicose" because they'd want to change the intolerable situation?

OR would they not be resigned because they have grown complacent, and passive. I think given the information, the sentence, and how disadvantaged people tend to behave/act in real life (their attitudes and such). I would still say resigned would be a better choice. Simply for the sake of it depicting their attitudes much better than the word bellicose. Furthermore, immutable is a far better choice to describe them than unpleasant. It is just better word choice, and for the second word: it is simply better description.

Would you really describe a majority of disadvantaged individuals as feeling bellicose in regards to their situation? Just because the word makes sense, does not mean it is the right word. Look for the word that makes the most sense, not just one that fits.
