engine break-in

most people kno that engines need to be broken in. and, most people know the way to do it is to drive at varying RPM's for the first 1000 miles or so without pushing the engine too hard. but, look wut i found.

a New Engine ?? The Short Answer: Run it Hard !" -mototune

does anyone kno this to be true? does it sound feasible?
