UC IRVINE

What are people's thoughts on UC Irvine?? Is it a really good school?? or is it party 24/7? I read all the information about the school which is the info the school gives me but every college makes it sound like their college is so great. So I want to kno from the people who know/heard of info or even better if u go to UC Irvine.

just follow the UC requirements courses while in high school.
good SAT 1 & 2 scores. couple of places to dedicate yoruself for community service throughout high school. good essay. ... the usual for most every UC school.

that's a pretty presumptive and stereotypical piece of advice. what you fail to realize is that students, regardless of their ethnicity, are at uci with strengths in english. this IS america. i... i don't even have the words to tell you how illogical your comment sounds. i can say with utmost confidence that knowledge of chinese is absolutely not necessary to go to or excel at uci.

i've visited uci. it's a beautiful school. basically the buildings are all clustered around a park. it's a very modern school, too. most buildings are brand new. the surrounding town is like.. lego land. suburbia. but la is just about half an hour away. pretty convenient if you need some city life.
as for what kind of school uci is.. it has a great reputation. and, uci is a party school. just the same way ivy leagues like harvard and princeton are party schools. just the same way top uc's like berkeley are party schools. my point being, it just depends on who you choose to associate with and the life you want to live. :) it's only a party school if you make it one (..for the most part).
