wut da...when did winamp 4 come out??

lets hope winamp 5 works with my multimedia keyboard...unlike stupid winamp3

winamp 2+3=5.
basically, no one liked the version3 release, too bloated. so the devs@winamp made a hybird to get the best of both worlds, lean code of winamp2 and flexibility of winamp3 skinning system, hence the addition.

i dont know about anyone else but i really prefer winamp 5. i think its easy and it has a user friendly interface. some of the other mp3 softwares are really confusing and weird.

im not sure about now, but back in the sonique v1 and winamp v2 days, i prefered sonique, since it had 3 skinnings modes, full, default, and minimal.

now, id have to admit, and quite sadly, that ive moved camp to windows media player developed from the one and only microsoft.

i'v ealways been a fan of winamp

i think MMD3 is the best skin for the winamp but it takes a whiel to load but it looks great with hella diffrent colors you can choose real cool

winamp 5 is winamp 2 and 3 combined so u can still go back to winamp 2 but have winamp 5 so much better then winam 3 cause that shit always froze

I find it much easier to use, and their layout for the feature settings is simpler. Some of the skins they have for winamp5 are absolutely amazing. I recall there was a skin that is modeled like a gun and the menus pop down with the ammo clip. Cool shit.
