This is silly.

Let's just eliminate post counts all together, that would get rid of this childish competition that some of the mods have against each other, and then tt would devalue spamming for people who enjoy to spam, because as Victor rationalizes it, people spam to get their post counts up.


No one will ever spam again.



My vote is still yes, and in my opinion this is one of the most counterproductive discussions about the overall environment of the forums.

post counts should be turned off completely.

post counts only induce spamming and ranking between members.

I go to a few boards which decided to turn of post counts and they were still busy and did well. and are still doing well.

having post counts doesn't really contribute to a better board anyways.
