im rambling but one last thing. im thinking of running these forums on democratic principles in the future. where people elect moderators and such. ill still be admin to maintain order but i dont think ill be around here much often once i get my personal site started again. and we'll outline some basic rights for forum members, privileges and appropriate behaivors for the moderators and supermoderators, and ill be some old hermit sitting in a corner all by myself, only to intervene when i really have to.
which reminds me. im going to re-evaluate moderators' performance next week. and relieve some moderators if i feel needed. this would include inactive moderators, moderators who i feel are not positive contributor to the forums, and moderators i feel are not qualified to moderate some forums theyre currently moderating.
these forums has been fun. people here are more civil than a lot of other past forums i went to. and i think a lot of it has to do with the moderators we have. a lot of how the forums are run are in the moderators hands, so its important we have the best and most qualified moderators we can have.
ofcourse, when i say this, im not implying ill fire everyone. infact, i might not even fire one single moderator. all im saying by this is: moderators are important.
