when i started seeing my ex gf who wasnt my ex at the time i didnt have a car.. she didnt mind.. we just had to improvise i guess.. i'd take the train down to the city and she'd drive to flushing and leave her car at some parking lot and take the subway to meet up with me.. a lot of times we just walked around the village where we first met.. and we'd take more subway rides and walks along the park and things like that.. she'd drive us to the beach and just walk miles and miles realizing how far we'd gotten and had to walk back.. we didnt mind.. i guess when i got my car and started dating her it was different.. we'd always have trouble figuring out what to do (a car with no plan is useless) and we'd stop doing some of the things we used to because we got lazy..
i guess what im saying is if my gurl is all hung up about what kinda car i have then forget her..

p.s. YUNICE if u read this we can walk up the hills, take trolley rides and go to the beach and feed the birds n stuff.. and if u come to nyc u better be a tourist and take the subway and go on the tour buses.. d=D

I think material things can matter, but it really depeds on the person. But if the guy is really nice but doesn't have a car and you won't date him because of that, I think that's wrong.

Anyways, too bad I'm moving to Japan next year, I was planning to get a motocycle this summer.

No, I don't care what type of car a guy has. I'm not some gold-digger . It's the GUY that I'm interested in; not what car he drives. Why should it matter? Ppl just want to look nice and come out of a nice car so they'd feel better about themselves.
If you found a guy who's everything to you but drives an ugly car, would you still date him?
