my dad is gonna buy me a phone ... so we went to verizon to go check them out ... i was gonna get the motorola T720 ... but they're out of stock until next week ..

i was looking at other ones too ... so i'd like your guy's opinions on which one is better

id get the motorola cuz the kyocera one is huge...too bulky for me..reminds me of the old school nokia 51xx/6xx

i have the t720 from t-mobile.

i like the phone. i got it when it was fairly new. $300. i think its like free with a plan now from verizon. the phone has a lot of new features. the color screen has about 4096 colors which isn't that great for a color phone. you'll see a huge difference when you compare it to the upper end color models from samsung. the menu is pretty simple and easy to use. one bad thing is the battery life. extremely short. you'll probably get like 2 hours of talk and about 3 hours in stand by mode. text messaging is easy because of something called i-Tap. the phone predicts what you're about to type and finishes the word. saves alot of time. ringtone quality is nice. polyphonic i believe. sounds like real music. one thing i dont like about this phone is that it supports only two bands (GSM900/1800).

verizon.
i dont like their get-it-now plan. the wap internet is alot more expensive and you get fewer text messages for the money. however, i do believe verizon has better reception.
