I don't like this riddle. It says, ran, if they were on horses the correct verb would have been rode. There's no indication of horses, and it's bad. It's just trying to not specify in order to confuse the reader...i don't like it. Usually i get the feeling of "ah, how didn't i figure that out?" from riddles, but from this i just got "ok...that's kind of dumb." Where'd you get it from btw? just curious.
