Info on piercin ears

I'm a guy and i'm thinkin of gettin my ears pierced and I need some info.
I heard that you gotta wear the earring fo six weeks and if you take it out, you'll get infected. is that true? and where did you get your ears pierced? my friend bought and used a gun fo piercin and i was also think of usin that gun, but i also heard that you can get infected from that too.

depends on how well u take care of it...i get it professionally pierced....but it doenst mean i wont get infected...if u clean it regularly with disinfectant, then it'll reduce your chances of having it infected

i'm pretty sure everywhere in the U.S. they use guns (when i went to korea... i got my second peircings done and they did it by hand.. OUCH) ....

okay dude..... you have to leave them in for like.... 4-8 months i believe... i think for 4 months for regular lobe peircings? before you can change the earring.... and for cartliage its 6 months... and another 6 before it HEALS... which means you can take it out for a week and it won't close.....

yea it's not just 6 weeks....i mean.... i guess you can take it out... but you better hella clean it and KEEP THE wutever IN.

when it gets infected it gets all red and like big and stuff
you gotta take out the earing and put medicine on it and most of the times it closes up again

well when i got infected my parents told me to put a tea stem
(ya know in the teas.stuff theres like these little sticks) cuz it absorbs the watery stuff ^__^

yea jus leave it in for a few weeks, after awhile when you feel its ok you can change earrings.

haha for infections just put disinfectant! go to a good store with experience when piercing...that way they are prolly more hygenic. for me i went to a jewellery store to pierce! :D then second time my friend pierced for me haha

i left mine in for a couple of months...i think 2 months before i changed my studs into hoops..hoops are a bitch to put in

i changed mine to hoops right after i pierced mine..my friend was helping me with it..but i passed out cause it fucking hurt like a bitch..if it gets infected..dont take earring out and press on your ear and let the puss out..then stick it back in from closing it..
