you cant 'uninstall' an operating system. if you want to do a clean install, youll have to reformat your hard drive.

seems like you dont know shit about computers...if you bought a computer from brands like hp, dell, compaq and so on..use your recovery discs that it came with...if its custom built, back up your files that you think are important then click
then put in windows cd format to dos, press y and wait

For Windows 2000/XP

1. Backup your files somehow (burn them on a cd/ jaz drive/whatever..)
2. Obtain a cd containing an operating system (windows 2000/xp) -FULL INSTALL-
3. Put the cd in your drive and restart
4. When BIOS (the black screen with all the stuff on it when you first restart) comes up press F12.
5. A box should come up asking you which you want to boot with.
6. Select the drive that your cd is contained in
7. Follow directions and delete your old partitions and make new ones and put the operating system on there.

For Windows 98/ME and before

1. Obtain a bootdisk
2. Obtain a cd containing windows 98/Me/and before. -FULL INSTALL-
3. Make sure the floppy isnt infected with a virus, and then restart your computer with the floppy in
4. During Bios the computer should recognize that the floppy is in and a screen should come up with the letter A: on it.
5. Type in A:/fdisk
6. Follow directions and delete old partitions and make new ones
(i think they're called dos partitions, im not sure)
7. After your done it'll prompt you to restart, restart with the floppy in and you should come to A: again.
8. This time, type in A:/setup and follow directions to installing windows.

Note. Dont forget to get a product key too. you wont be able to install it without it.
