is age much of a factor? would a huge age difference discourage you from having a relationship?

it has to matter to me b/c 2 years younger is borderlining on illegal. but older doesnt matter. my gf is 3 1/2 years older than me and we're doing just fine.

i think for da teenage life between 13-18..age is a real big factor..
4 years is a lot considering u would only be a freshman in high skOol when hes a freshman in college or vise-versa..
its two very different worlds and i dont think da younger kid would be able to handle dat..cuz dey wouldnt be as mature and understand da different feelings/thoughts/emotions as da older person..

but~ when ur all grown up [lol] maybe..in ur mid 20s it isnt a very BIG deal..sOo..i thnk dat as u get older..age isnt as big of a deal as when ur younger...

I look at bit for the age. I want a guy who is 2 or more years older than me coz the guy which are younger or same age as me don't really know what a relationship means. I don't know if it is in Asia too. I guess it also has something to do with education.
If it would happen and I would fell in love with somebody in my age I wouldn't say no.

haha well... i mean.... if a girl is like 16 and a guy is 19... then it's like... boo.... but if you're not going to DO anything..... then i guess it shouldn't matter.

i agree with kryptic nabi....... age seems like such a big deal when we're younger because.... we haven't been around as much... we don't know as much..... but as we get older... age seems to make less of a difference... some people parents are like 10 years apart... but that would be kind of irksome if they weren't 40 and 50..... instead like..... 10 and 20? i mean...how EWW is that?


but as a preference i would like the guy older than me... although it wouldn't really matter.. cuz the guy would look older than me even if he was 2 years younger than me.... but i would prefer they be older because i just couldn't deal with immature guys... which is like all guys.. just kidding but yea.....i just need that feeling of dominance over me.... not that someone younger can't provide that... but..... yea i guess that's why it's a preference....

face the facts, most people wanna go out with older people just for the thrill of saying they are going out with someone older than them. and older people? most of them just wanna bone the younger ones because they are more vulnerable.

I have bf is younger than me 7 years...... is romantic.... i do hope to get along with him forever..... but ..... his parent dsiagree and always hurt me by saying something to hurt my feeling. At the same time .... he also studying... he cna't do anything.. just ask me to be patient and stand his parent.... ! fianlly i cna't stand his parent anymore and walk off........

age is not problem ... but maybe our family or his/her family is anohter issue you have to take into account.. is only my personal opinion.. it might be wrong to you .. anyway good luck

I've heard from several ppl that the guideline formula is: your age divided by 2, plus seven .. that would give you the minimal age

on what basis this formula is derived, I have no clue. It sounds pretty dumb to me haha

Minimal is 14 1/2.
Age doesn't matter if you're the person in love with the other who's older/younger.
From an outsider's point of view it may seem different.
Like a 23 year old male with a 16 year old...hmm...that seems just a tad weird to me.
UGH! Like celine Dio and her husband! ew!
But hey, they're in love, and what ppl think doesn't matter because they love each other.
so it doesn't matter if you're in love.
for me, no body younger than me. Gotta be older. Even if it's a month or two.

my guy is 26 and I'm 18. we're not truly bf and gf yet because i feel weird about the age thing, but even though age is just a number,. i know that he is attracted to me more than i am attracted to him and i have been single way too long. and i do kinda like him. so i guess age does matter a little bit to me because when he was my age, 18, i was 11. so that part makes me feel a lil' :huh: . although, it would be cool to date an older guy, because he's already out of college and has a nice job and i like his friends and family but i'm not sure whether to allow myself to get closer to him because of our age difference?
