SAT's or SAT II's

i'm hella scared!! i'm taking the SAT II bio on june 1....and i'm a nervous wreck. i actualli shud be studying rite now, but i wuz wunderin if pplz cud share their sat experiences? the sat II bio seems to be pretti popular at mai skool, and most pplz say it isn't that hard...but i'm realli realli nervous. tips or stories, neone?

lol. seriously. i'm gettin like in the 600's for the practice tests --; this is NOT good. i started out expectin at least a 750, but the fawkin books are misleading!!! they tell u a bunch of crap and then their practice tests ask u sumtin they barely touched upon...grrrrr i'll be happi if i get a 700. :sad:

aiy~ SAT II Bio?!?! I heard that thing is crazy and kind of on the hard side. But I guess if you know your stuff, then everything is A.O.K., right?

If you know a decent amount of Korean, I suggest taking the SAT II Korean, which is offered only once a year around October or something. That test is easy. It's just every year the people are trying to make it harder and harder.

it's not on the hard side. yea, it's one of the easier tests.
the reason the test makers try to make it harder each passing year is because the really high scores on it. I believe SAT II Chinese had the highest among the SAT II tests, then Korean - but this is mainly because it's only the Chinese students taking Chinese test and the Korean students taking the Korean test... figures.

honestly i suck at taking these tests. My mind starts wandering, and....ah! haha then there's like 10 minutes left. Blast it! (with the pirate lexicons) Oh well, i never studied for them before nor did i know the format...that was rather lazy and dumb.

I took it today, and...i didn't know how to do some of the math problems! ahhhh, where did these problems come from? hm hm, i could have figured it out if i had more time, but the time is the whole element of the test. Anyway, i had to leave like 7 blank total combined throughout the test. Sucked, but we'll see.

took it 2day...dun give a shit nemore itz all behind me....weehee!!! i took the M one. it wuzn't that bad actualli, pretti much like the practice tests i took. i had lotza time left and then i talked to the othr smart pplz from mai skool hu took it and they said it wuz realli hard...so now i'm realli nervous :sad:

i took the Math I C , Math II C, and Chemistry..

Math I C..was EASYYY... Math II C...was HARDDDD

Chemistry.. was tha KILLA...i didnt know a thing..

lucky this year..theres score choice..next year..i am doomed..

if you are semi fluent in either Korean or Chinese, I would suggest you take it. I took the SATII Chinese and it was godly easy. Also take the IICs for math, especially if you are going into Engineering, I heard the colleges actually look for students taking the IIC test. Other than that, I don't know why people would take the SATII Chem....it's some hard stuff!

i heard bio was the easiest...i think i shoulda taken it..cuz i took regular bio and ap bio...

instead i took physics....i didnt study, i didnt know what shit was on it....i got a 680...i guess im a natural at physics =P

i got a 740

i studied so much!!! i prepared for about a month, studying lightly at first (a lil bit each nite) but then about 2 weeks before mai dad realized princeton review prolly wasn't gonna giv me a very good score w/out xtra help, so he bought me a kaplan. for the last 2 weeks i studied like mad, and i basically lived in a cave. i wuz xtremely worried cuz i wuz gettin in the 600's for practice tests, so mai score came as a BIG surprise for me. a very pleasant one, cuz i wuz xpectin round 640.
mai parents said i didn't study enuff. they sed if i realli applied maiself and studied more i wud hav gotten a higher score.

well, they're azn like that.
