I happened to open an email, one of those junk mails, and found this letter:

NICKELODEON PRO-HOMOSEXUAL SHOW IS IN PRODUCTION!

Dear TVC Supporter:

The homosexual newspaper, "Washington Blade" has just published an
action alert on TVC's campaign against the airing of a pro-homosexual
show on Nickelodeon. The alert indicates that the show is already in
production—contrary to what I was told by Marva Smalls, a Nickelodeon
Executive Vice President. Smalls told me that the program was only in
the development stages—not in full production. In short, she lied to me!


The "Blade" is now urging its homosexual readers to contact TVC and
Nickelodeon to protest our effort to keep this show from airing. They
are aggressively targeting children for homosexual recruitment!

I need your help today to flood Nickelodeon with petitions urging them
to stop production of this show.

Nickelodeon advertises itself as a network that parents can trust. We
now know that we can't trust them. The "Blade" article headline says it
all: "Nickelodeon goes gay." The "Blade" says that the Gay and Lesbian
Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is working with Nickelodeon on this
upcoming children's program!

Making a parallel that watching gay shows causes people to become gay is like the connection people try to use with video games and killing. The ones that actually do go around killing are the ones with the messed up heads and perhaps they would not have done so (as in murder) if their parents and guardians took time to solve the child's inner problems first.

okay what's the big deal... we're all going to have to be used to homosexual people... so why not learn about it when you're a kid... and not be so against it when you get older... how many ppl are homophobic? i'm guessing a lot more than you think.. so why not just.. expose it to the kids... so they aren't so negative about it in the future? i'm not saying that i think being homosexual is right... cuz i don't... but i don't have anything against the people who are ... i just feel irksome about the idea of it.. but as long as i don't see it...


this whole thing about "i'm killing people in my video game so i'm going to kill people in real life " thing seems reasonable but then again not.... the kids who do kill other ppl have problems already... it's not just games.... and those games like mario and ect? well those games have violence in it too.....hello? cruelty to animals... shows you can squish turtles and stuff (okay so it's a crude example)..... mmmm...stupid example but you get the idea right? either way all video games have killing.... and just like that... most tv shows have a lot of inapproriate things.... i think some shows on nickelodeon are just sick ... i mean sometimes i think all those shows just promote insanity.... all those kids on the show seem retarded and corny ..... or just stupid... so okay the new show a reality show... but nick news.... they need to know...

maybe PRO homosexual show is kind of... er...but i don't see anything wrong with exposing it... as long as it doesn't get all.... errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... but i'm sure they won't right?


i'm sure it's some sort of hoax noh? This show sounds really fake to moi~ i mean would nickelodeon be willing to do that? even if some ppl might think it's okay a lot of ppl are going to disapprove...

my brother (younger...much) was talking about how rosie o'donnel was or is going to be the host of some award thingy.... and how there was some some like "i'm coming out" er something..... he just thought it was funny how... rosie is les and there's that song..... (how he knew she was les i dunno.... but is she???)

now THIS is a good idea. Seriously, i don't know about doing it right now, but then again...when will we be ready to show this stuff? I've thought about this before and wondered when we'd get to have children shows that involved homosexuality and i'm glad it may be happening. It's better to learn about this stuff when you are a kid, then you won't have to make a normative comparison between the two lifestyles when you finally realize this stuff exists.

Educating the kids through a children's tv show that makes it seem in the show like it's normal (as it should be in real life), will essentially perhaps sway them to believe that there is nothing wrong with the lifestyle. This isn't any recruitment, thats absurd. It's acceptance and education through one of the most tangible and effective means. Kids learn a lot when they are a kid, and this hopefully will help decrease all this discrimination.

But then again, if this flawed theory of recruitment works out...why not? It's not THAT bad.
