face the facts. no matter how innocent you intend it to be, flirting will do you no good unless you're doing it with someone you KNOW you are going to go out with. if not, all it will do is either lead the person on, give the person an unnecessary ego boost, or make the person view you in a cheaper manner.
going around flirting shamelessly is not only 'fun', but it also detracts from your character in terms of having a relationship- what does flirting say about your sense of loyalty? some may say they don't have any correlation to each other, but there will be those out there who always view flirting as 'cheating's dirty little cousin'.
just know that flirting is characteristic of a person chasing after a cheaper version of a relationship without the emotional strings attached; and no matter how many people say 'flirting is human nature' or something retarded of that sort, it will still be something no good can come out of unless you engage in it with someone you either are committed to already or someone you will be involved with for sure.
