there isn't anything to forget.

Put it down if you need to, we take the effort to take it up. Think about it this way, wiht it up there's even more air circulating to help air out whatever smells come. It's actually better that way. Get mad, we aren't "forgetting" to put it down, i don't know why it has become accepted that guys are "supposed" to put it down.
