My lil Poem
Yeah, today we had a math assessment. After i finished I decided to write a poem. Itz a bit corney.... but that is what i had after 20 minutes:
The day I met you
I couldn't forget you.
I just couldn't wait
for our first date.
As we hun out at the mall
I saw just you, that was all.
Not a movie or a show,
just your skin as white as snow.
And even today
my thoughts stray
to the day
I met you.
You're not jus my lover,
you're also my friend.
You're the one in whom I depend
I can confide in you
'cause I know you'll be true.
Nothing anybody can do
to stop me from loving you.
Perhaps there'll be a day
one our love fades away.
But you'll always stay
in my heart I pray.
I thank the good Lord for
having you, for rich or poor
I'll be with you.
Someday maybe
we can get married.
Have kids and a home
where I will write you a new poem.
But until then, I'll be in your arms
being protected from harm.
Just as long as you and I can stay true
there;s nothin we can't do.
While I write this poem, there is no girl, with white skin or whom will marry me. but someday... someday...
