It's actually not all that complicated to get rid of moles.
You can get them frozen off(in a clinic) or cut off(also done in a clinic)
I had a mole removed when I was in sixth grade. It was infected or something. My mother set up an appointment to have it removed. It was a really fast, no hassle procedure.
The nurse numbed the area around the mole with an anesthetic (that's the right word for the drug, right?) The doctor took a scalpel and removed it. And...the whole thing took maybe five minutes. I wouldn't call it a surgery. It's not so involved.
I don't think it was an expensive procedure...though I can't really recall the fee that my mother paid for it.
