legally blonde 2: red, white, and blonde

Pink-loving, blonde-haired Harvard Law School graduate Elle Woods (Witherspoon) returns in this sequel, as she turns her legal and fashion-savvy know-how towards getting a bill passed through Congress, relocating a second time, after adapting her Beverly Hills ways to Harvard, and now... Washington, D.C. The issue at hand is animal testing, which Elle becomes concerned about when the parents of her dog can't attend the pet's wedding because of it. Arriving at the Watergate and not knowing where to begin in the city, she befriends the hotel's elderly doorman, Sidney (Newhart), who becomes her guide to the way the political system works, and how to get her legislation... legislated.
MPAA Rating: Not Rated.

Release Date: July 2nd, 2003.

i like reese. i read the article on her in the June Vogue issue. she tells why she chose to take the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. its too long to even paraphrase but after reading it, u understand why she chose to do a "dumb-blonge" role.

i haven't read that article but i read and saw different interviews with her about this movie. She liked the fact that Elle (the main character) was a strong determined woman but still could maintain her femininity.... femininiidfasdkjfasdlkfy . Something like that. In other words... GIRL POWER. lol

i have not read the article, but could a paraphrase go like this. this is just speculation, sorry if it is wrong:

She is an ambitious woman fighting in a world ruled by men and she wins out not by conforming, but by maintaining who she is. It is ok to be fake, blond, and barbie like. Accept who you are, blonds are looked down upon becuase of their fake fascade, and it is ok to be that way really.

Something like that?

like the scene where they got votes by cosmetics (when that hairstylist did hairs for the court people) ..

hahhahhahaa, her dog was a gay... that was hilarious.. i thought her dog was a girl..
