It's actually not all that complicated to get rid of moles.
You can get them frozen off(in a clinic) or cut off(also done in a clinic)
I had a mole removed when I was in sixth grade. It was infected or something. My mother set up an appointment to have it removed. It was a really fast, no hassle procedure.
The nurse numbed the area around the mole with an anesthetic (that's the right word for the drug, right?) The doctor took a scalpel and removed it. And...the whole thing took maybe five minutes. I wouldn't call it a surgery. It's not so involved.
I don't think it was an expensive procedure...though I can't really recall the fee that my mother paid for it.
hope that helps you

i had 3 moles on my face that werent big at all but i just thought the moles looked ugly so while i was in korea i got them taken out. the process is real easy, the doc will rub some stuff on your face to numb it a little and then they will burn it off with some kinda of laser (i think- i forget i had mine taken out like 6 years ago). also its a real cheap procedure like couple 100 bucks and takes no more then 15-30min unless you have a lot or they are deep. the only thing is you have to take care of your face and keep out of the sun for the first week or so or else like someone already mention they will grow back...mine ddint though. so if you live in cali or some place with a lot of koreans search around and see if theres a doc who can take your moles out.
