I don't care. That's my problem. In a relationship she can give all she wants but it doesn't mean nothing to me. Its because I don't care what she has to give, I care what she has. If she is trying to sell me something that means she's either a Jahova's witness or a door 2 door salesmen.

well i havent dated anyone for about 3 years.. but some of my problems then...

1.if the girl doesn't call me back i tend to think of the worse case scenarios and even get jealous
2.if the girl appear to lose interest in me i usually get worried and indulge in self pity when in actuality there was no loss of interest and it was just all in my head.. i keep doing that and i feel stupid.
3.i used to always apologize for everything. i hated that about myself
4.i tend to rely on the phone to build relationships ..i mean when i have her to myself in a car ride or dinner.. it's just not the same. why? because of reason no.5
5. someetimes i have very low selfesteem when it comes to my looks.. so i rarely make eye contact because that means she has to look at me.. so i'd usually look away when i talk.. but sometimes it would have an affect where they would feel ugly.. so at the end.. we all just feel ugly.. kinda silly huh
6. i over analyze
7. i get nervous (even if its my girlfriend of whatever months) and always have nothing to say or i say something stupid.

and on a side note reply, face the facts, you can't buy someone's affection with kind gestures and gifts if the interest just ISN'T THERE.

Yes, gifts are an added extra. You should never base anything on them. You should never give that much. I know they say love like you've never loved before. If you do that, your heart will be broken into a million pieces. My suggestion is don't care so much. Its just a relationship, you know there are gonna be many more.

what I meant by giving is I act way way too nice and I'm willing to do anything for him... Not giving of gifts or money (I don't even have that for me ) Thinking about it now, I must act a little too easy... Like I make him think that he can have me wrapped around his fingers in seconds...

my fault....I expected very little back...meaning that if I gave 100% on a relationship and they give 50% back, I'll find some stupid excuse to accept that....
