SES will be releasing a special album called ¡°Friend¡± around the beginning of November. This will mark their second special album after their 2001 ¡°Surprise¡± album. The new album is comprised of 7 new songs and 4 remixes for a total of 11 tracks. ¡°Friend¡± which is going to be released about 5 months after their 5th album goodbye special boasts composers Yoo Young Jin and Kim Duk Yoon who¡¯s a ballad specialist for gasoos such as Lena Park, Shin Seung Hoon and Sung Shi Kyung. The title track which was written and composed by Yoo Young Jin is called ¡°S II S¡± which in Korean is pronounced SES and stands for Soul to Soul which stands to mean love communicated from soul to soul. Overall SM Entertainment described the album as having an ¡°Urban Swing¡± feel that freshly utilizes the 3 members¡¯ voices. Four song from their previouly released albums were chosen for remix: 2nd album¡¯s ¡°Nuh Reul Sarang Hae¡± (I Love You), 3rd album¡¯s ¡°Shalala,¡± 4.5 album¡¯s ¡°Just In Love¡± and 5th album¡¯s ¡°Choose My Life.¡± This will be the first time SES will be releasing two albums in a single calendar year even though all 3 members have been busy with other activities in between albums. Eugene has famously spent the summer acting in the television drama series ¡°Loving You¡± with co-star Park Yong Ha. She recently agreed to appear in the music video for Park Yong Ha¡¯s upcoming debut album next month.
