Chakra returns with new face
Chakra has returned with their 3rd album "Dol-ah-wah" after 2 years. One obvious change is that former group leader Inee, who went off to study abroad, has been replaced by Bona (age 21), who joined the team just 3 months ago. Their music genre also differs from previous albums with the emphasis now placed on sad ballads. Their title song "Dol-ah-wah" features Eugene Park on the electric violin and actor Kwon Sang-woo as the narrator. Chakra is also co-promoting the song "Da," which is reminiscent of their past Indian-style dance songs. They will promote their songs through the radio and music videos before making TV appearances. The change in their 3rd album style is due to the fact that they produced half the album themselves - they, along with the group's creator Lee Sang-min, chose the songwriters and the songs included in the album. The members, who each had their own gigs on TV during the long singing break (Hwang Bo on various game shows, Ryu Won on the morning drama "Saxophone and Glutinous Rice Cake," Eun on KMTV's "M4U"), have all fully returned to their day jobs.
